How To Report Bugs or Request Features

There is a ticket system in place to handle bug reports and feature requests. The following is a list of suggested steps anyone should follow when reporting a bug or requesting a feature:

1. Search for an existing ticket that matches what you would like to report. The search tool in the upper right of each page can be very helpful, as can browsing the list of Active Tickets. If you find a match, please append your report to the existing ticket. In fixing a bug, it is very helpful to have as much information about the problem as possible.

2. If you're certain that no existing ticket matches your problem, create a new ticket.

Be as accurate as you can in selecting fields from the drop-down menus, and please do not select a milestone. Be as descriptive as you can in your report. As a minimum, be sure to include operating system, CPU, amount of RAM, and version of make and gcc.
